The band was formed by Elka and Steve and featured former members of Sweet Pain and Limousine. Several members later joined The Throbs, NY Loose, Saigon Saloon, and L.A. Guns. Angels In Vain recorded several demos and once appeared on the cover of "Rock Scene" magazine. After leaving the band, Brian moved to England for 6 months with Pete and Paul Wassif. When he returned to New York City, he joined Princess Pang.
