Misfits Go Psycho On Newest Horror-Core Album

Megadeth's opening act this summer say they are
               just all-American boys.

Addicted To Noise's Laura Lee Reports:
Don't let the Misfits' bizarre appearance
fool you, these are men with purpose, and the
first item on today's agenda-- world
               domination.

The New Jersey four piece, decked out in
skulls and leather, have been pumping out
their brand of psycho horror-core since
modern-day shock rockers Marilyn Mason were
in diapers. Punk fueled and hook heavy,
tracks off their new album American Psycho
(Geffen) include titles such as "Speak Of The
Devil," "From Hell They Came" and "Don't Open
               'Til Doomsday."

"We get up every morning and lift weights,
you know, and that's fun and then we get down
and build our own guitars," said Jerry Only,
frontman/bassist for the Misfits and brother
of Misfits guitarist, Doyle Wolfgang Von
Frankenstein. "And we demanded with this
release that we get some bubble gum trading
cards put out to accompany the album."

Over the past couple of years, the Misfits
were honored by an offer from the metal band
Anthrax to open for them and recently they
allowed themselves to be cajoled into an
opening spot on Megadeth's summer tour. In
addition to the Megadeth stadium tour, the
Misfits are headlining their own club tour of
               the U.S.

"The Misfits are as American as apple pie,"
Only said. "And the only people who don't
like the music are the ones we have to beat
up." What better reason to make sure you
don't miss them when they burn up your town
               this summer.
