  Fans of gore-core punk will be delighted to know that Caroline records
has recently released VIOLENT WORLD - A TRIBUTE TO THE MISFITS.  The 14-track
album, which features songs by Prong, Pennywise, Goldfinger, NOFX, and Sick
Of It All, consists entirely of previously unreleased material.  Sources
close to Glenn Danzig report that the muscle-bound ex-Misfits frontman was
overheard saying, "I love this record!  It's so damn heavy that I don't even
think I could bench press it."
